Yesterday the situation became even worse. Sebastian Szymański was injured during the warm-up before the start of the match. Mateusz Bogusz joined the first team at the last minute.

More problems occurred during the match. Did Bartosz Bereszyński play a good match? He had to leave the pitch in the 32nd minute due to an injury. Jan Bednarek left the field during the break. At one point, Taras Romanczuk had problems, but he returned to the game. As for the White and Reds, everything was fine until the end of the first half. Just after the break, the Poles were completely dominated. They conceded the first goal in the 59th minute. And then the second, third, fourth and fifth. Once, as a consolation and to avoid complete embarrassment, Dominik Marczuk, who was making his debut in the national team, was included.
Now the Poles are preparing for Monday's match against Scotland. They must at least draw in this match to maintain a chance of staying in Division A of the Nations League. Any slip-up means automatic relegation to a lower division. And considering all the health problems of Polish representatives – it may be really difficult.

“Taras Romanczuk will not play against Scotland. Bartosz Bereszyński and Jan Bednarek as well. The health situation is difficult. No surprises in goal at the National Stadium: Łukasz Skorupski,” the journalist wrote on Twitter.
Michał Probierz has already reacted. At 2:00 a.m. Mateusz Wieteska was called up to the Polish national team. Samuel Szczygielski from matchyki.pl additionally informed that one of the top league players may also receive an emergency call-up.
The match against Scotland will take place on Monday, November 18 at 8:45 p.m. The Scots currently have the same number of points as the Reds and Whites. On Friday, they unexpectedly won 1-0 against the Croatian team – helped by Petar Sucic's red card.
