At least six Russian soldiers were killed and three injured when Ukrainian forces struck a Russian command post in the occupied part of the Zaporizhia Oblast. The attack was reported by military intelligence in Kiev.
The place where the Russian command post was located was detected by aerial reconnaissance of the Department of Active Activities of Military Intelligence, military intelligence in Kiev reported on Monday.
The service's announcement stated that “the missile strike on the facility was carried out in cooperation with the operational and strategic troop group Tavria.” “The headquarters of the Russian occupiers was destroyed,” the intelligence agency said, adding that six Russian soldiers were killed in the attack and three others suffered serious injuries.
The intelligence agency published a recording purporting to show the moment of the attack.
“Eliminating” three officers and attacking the train
A few days earlier, Ukrainian intelligence reported the “elimination” of three officers of the Russian military command in the occupied areas of the Zaporizhia Oblast.
In mid-November this year, the media in Kiev reported, citing sources in the secret services, that Ukrainian drones attacked a Russian train with 40 fuel tankers in the Zaporizhia Oblast.
The main goal of the operation was to cut the logistic routes of fuel supplies by Russian forces from the annexed Crimea. “As a result of the special operation, a locomotive and 40 tanks with fuel worth $4 million were destroyed,” wrote the Ukrainian portal NV.
