The myth of the Smolensk murder is one of the basic bricks in the PiS wall. Pulling out this brick will cause it to collapse – said MEP and former head of the Ministry of Interior Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz in “Fakty po Faktach”. – Jarosław Kaczyński, even if he has written in black and white what happened with the evidence, he will say that it is propaganda – he added.
Former minister and today MEP of KO Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz he spoke in “Fakty po Faktach” about two reports published in recent days, largely concerning the activities of Antoni Macierewicz.
As Sienkiewicz said, the report of the commission investigating Russian and Belarusian influence shows “a landscape after complete destruction, for which Antoni Macierewicz and Jarosław Kaczyński are responsible.”

Sienkiewicz, asked about the president's words PISwho seems to be defending Macierewicz, admitted that he “perfectly understands this attitude.” – This is the same attitude that characterizes Morawiecki, Sasin, Ziobro, Romanowski and many other people suspected of crimes who behave like a clan of thieves – said the guest of “Fakty po Faktach”.
– They persist until the end. PiS has one rule: you cannot back down when confronted with the facts. They think this would be the beginning of the end for them, he said.
Sienkiewicz: the myth of the Smolensk murder is one of the basic bricks in the PiS wall
Referring to the findings of the team that looked at the Smolensk subcommittee of Antoni Macierewicz, Sienkiewicz said that “Jarosław Kaczyński, even if he has what happened to the evidence written in black and white, will say that it is propaganda.”
– They made a wall and if you take one brick out of that wall, it will collapse. The myth of the Smolensk murder he built Jarosław Kaczyński with Antoni Macierewicz, is one of the basic bricks in this wall. A retreat on this matter would mean the end of the myth on which they have been preying on Poles for ten years, said the MEP.
“We have the right to demand this minimal human gesture.”
The guest of “Fakty po Faktach” was also asked about the recent statement of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorskiwho said in an interview for the Financial Times that he saw no reason “why (exhumations) should be blocked between countries that help each other.” It was about a Polish-Ukrainian dispute over the exhumation of the victims of the Volhynian crime.
– In my opinion, we are demanding the minimum in this situation. Poland, in relation to GDP, is the country that has helped the most Ukraine. In the number of equipment, in care, in creating a special hub for transport to Ukraine – said Sienkiewicz.
– We just want to bury our citizens, bury our dead. We have the desire to bury everyone, remember everyone. This is who we are and we have the right to demand this minimal human gesture from our neighbors and friends whom we help – says the guest of “Fakty po Faktach”.
According to the MEP, “the current government in Kiev is losing ground and losing its rational assessment.” – The lamentations that President Zelensky gives to Poles, Americans and the West are becoming more frequent and sound more and more desperate, he said.
– It is necessary to understand their situation, but I have the impression that Kiev has become entangled in a kind of pettiness that does not in any way improve their strategic situation – he added.
