Why will “disposable” tickets be charged? Changes regarding plastic bags were initiated by the EU SUP (Single Use Plastic) directive, and then the rules for charging fees for them were introduced by the Act of June 13, 2013 on packaging and packaging waste management. Their amount is specified in the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of August 27, 2019 on the recycling fee rate. The law obliges entrepreneurs to collect a fee from customers, but you don't have to pay for a very light bag with a material thickness of less than 15 micrometers.

Biedronka spoke up: The network explained that the action was aimed at reducing plastic consumption. “The collected recycling fee, in accordance with the Act, will be transferred to the appropriate marshal's office does not constitute an additional source of income for our network,” she said Ladybird in a statement for “Super Express”.
