Everything seems to indicate that bravado was the cause of a tragic accident in Brzeszcze near Oświęcim. The 48-year-old did not manage to overtake another vehicle at the bend, so he hit him, trying to avoid a frontal collision. As a result, a 78-year-old died, who after a collision entered a tree.
A tragic accident occurred on Friday around 20.35 on the street of Oświęcima in Brzeszcze. A 78-year-old driver died there.

It all started with a dangerous overtaking maneuver. As the staff aspirant Małgorzata Jurecka from the Oświęcim police informed in the announcement, a 48-year-old SEATA driver overtook two cars on the curve of the road. He did not make it.
“In order to avoid a collision with a vehicle driving from the opposite direction, he collided with an overturned Fiat, whose 78-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle, then fell out of the road and hit a roadside tree. As a result of the collision, the 78-year-old died on the spot,” said Jurecka. The 48-year-old was also hospitalized.

As the spokeswoman for the Oświęcim headquarters emphasized, activities under the supervision of the prosecutor were carried out at the site of a road accident. “During the investigation, the exact circumstances in which this tragic traffic accident occurred” – noted the policewoman.
