Devastating floods hit southern and eastern regions of Spain. According to local media, over 100,000 cars were destroyed.

– Trucks bring damaged cars every day. High towers are made of them. They put one car on top of another, said Julia Escolano, a resident of Paiporta. – My cars are gone. We had four cars, a motorcycle, we lost everything, she added.
In this town, which was particularly hard hit by the floods, over 60 people died.
