TVN24 journalist Marta Warchoł started a relationship with Iwona Widomska, publisher of “Fakty”, ten years ago. The ladies are eager to share their lives online, and recently announced that they have decided to get married. The ceremony took place on June 22, and the brides added several photos from this important day. A week after the ceremony, Warchoł decided to publish bitter words about civil partnerships that the government had promised to introduce. “It was great to take a break from what's going on in the country for a moment. But the ongoing discussion about civil partnerships can spoil the greatest joy. A discussion that should have taken place six months ago. On the one hand, we have giving hope and attention to rainbow families, on the other, gibberish, supported by arguments of the rank of 'no, because no', selfish arguments. I admire that people with a shamrock on their lapel can do it at the expense of the safety of LGBT+ people and their kids fight for the right-wing electorate. They are consciously taking away the happiness of people who love each other and want to take care of their loved ones,” the journalist wrote. She also revealed why she decided to use such words. During the renovation, the desk at which the women worked together disappeared from the studio. “The desk at which Iwona Widomska and I met over ten years ago is disappearing along with the major renovation,” Warchoł confessed.
