Someone wanted to get unauthorized access to the email accounts of the members of the election staff of Rafał Trzaskowski and several other people – said Deputy Minister of Digitization on TVN24 Deputy Minister of Digitization Michał Gramatyka referring to Cyberratac on the Civic Platform.
There was a cyber attack on Wednesday. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digitization Krzysztof Gawkowski He said on Friday on TVN24 that “the attack came from groups that are associated with Russian and Belarusian intelligence.”
He said that “it was an attack not aimed at an ordinary employee, but he was to attack Rafał Trzaskowski's closest associates and the presidential candidate himself.” – he was to compromise in any way Rafał Trzaskowski. It failed, because the election umbrella worked – he said.

Deputy Minister of Digitization Michał Grammar (Poland 2050) was asked on Saturday on “One on one” on TVN24, from where it is known that they wanted to compromise Trzaskowski. He said that “the so -called CSIRT NASK is working on the whole matter.” He added that experts “determined which way this attack went, which accounts were attacked by criminals, how this attack spread.”
He said that “someone wanted to get unauthorized access to the email accounts of members of the electoral staff of President Trzaskowski and a few other people.”
Asked what the thesis is based on that someone wanted to compromise the presidential candidate, grammar said that “this attack model is that access to accounts is obtained that allows you to send messages from these accounts.”
– This is such a malicious software that allows you to take control of a computer or an email account of an attacked person. And then you can do basically any things from this account, impersonating such a person – he added.
Asked if anyone wanted to impersonate Rafał Trzaskowski in the IT system, he said: – I do not think that under the candidate himself, while this attack was aimed at a group of people around the election staff of the Civic Coalition, the election staff of Trzaskowski's candidate.
Grammar said that “after the analysis of the so -called modus operandi, i.e. the way the service was acting, the conclusion came from the Eastern vector and was calculated that a few, maybe a dozen or so email accounts around the candidate (…) in order to have control over them,” would be calculated that this attack had come from the Eastern Vector and was calculated that it would be possible to take over a dozen or so email accounts.
