Michał Bartkiewicz is currently 28 years old. He started dancing as a child. His mother, who worked at a community center in Olsztyn, signed him up for training. It quickly turned out that the boy had real talent. For many years he developed his tournament career dynamically. He has many successes to his credit, including the Polish championship. The dancer has performed at many international tournaments. He admits that he feels best in Latin American styles. This is what he decided to focus on. Some time ago, he abandoned his tournament career and became a performer in the Burn the Floor dance group. The band is famous for its live dance shows. He has performed on Broadway and the West End, but also on luxury cruise ships.

In a podcast published on the DTV podcast channel, Bartkiewicz revealed that he did not plan to be a professional dancer for long. He plans to retire before he turns 35. However, he is not entirely sure what he will do when he retires from dancing. – I don't have a plan as such. At this point, I'm drawing on where I am now (…) What's next? We'll see what life brings me, what I will manifest, I don't know what it is yet, maybe my own business, maybe another dance scene – he confessed.
