Second degree IMWM warnings – strong wind
Orange alerts have been issued for the following voivodeships:
In these areas, strong winds with an average speed of up to 50 km/h and gusts of up to 100 km/h are expected from the west and north-west. The warnings will be in force until midnight on Saturday.
First degree IMWM warnings – strong wind
The lowest, first degree warnings apply to the following voivodeships:
- West Pomeranian Voivodeshipin counties: ŚwinoujścieKamieński, Gryfice, Kołobrzeg, Koszalin, Koszalin;
- Pomeranian except for some counties in the southwest of the region;
- Podlasiein the following counties: Białystok, BiałystokSokółka, Augustów, Sejny, Suwałki, SuwałkiGrajewo, Kolno, Łomża, Łomża;
- Warmian-Masurian Voivodeshipexcept for the following counties: Nidzica, Nowe Miasto and Działdowo.
In these regions, strong winds with an average speed of up to 40 km/h and gusts of up to 75 km/h are expected from the west. Alarms in Pomerania and Western Pomerania will be valid until 10 p.m. on Friday.
In other regions, dangerous weather is expected from 9 a.m. on Friday to 3 a.m. on Saturday, though IMWM reserves the right to extend the validity of alarms.
