Debate in Końskie between Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki. Grzegorz Schetyna comments

If Karol Nawrocki does not accept an invitation to the debate, it means that he gives this campaign with a walkway, he gives in to Rafał Trzaskowski – said Senator of the Civic Coalition Grzegorz Schetyna, former chairman of the Civic Platform in “Facts after Facts”.

President's candidate Rafał Trzaskowski proposed to the candidate PIS Karol Nawrocki's debate this Friday, April 11 in Końskie (Świętokrzyskie). It was there that at the end of March Nawrocki called Trzaskowski to a security debate, reminding that in the presidential campaign in 2020 he did not take part in the debate organized in this town. The debate is ready to organize TVN24, TVP, Polsat News and TV Republika.

Schetyna: Nawrocki has no choice

Senator of the Civic Coalition spoke about the role of this debate later in the presidential campaign Grzegorz Schetynaformer chairman of the Civic Platform.

– I think (Nawrocki – ed.) There is no way out. Nawrocki must accept this invitation, he cannot give this debate with a waff. It will be a debate of the two most serious candidates to enter the second round and to win the election. The debate is the salt of the election campaign – he said.

– If Nawrocki does not accept this invitation, it means that he gives this campaign with a walker, he gives in to Trzaskowski. This will have a huge impact on the result of this first round – he continued. At the same time, he added that the candidate KO “did his homework” from 2020, when he did not appear at the debate in this town, organized by the then government television.

Schetyna: Hołownia can take votes from Mentzen

Schetyna also referred to results of the opinion survey24 for “Facts” TVN and TVN24. According to pollmost respondents in the first round would vote for the candidate of the Civic Coalition Rafał Trzaskowski. The President of Warsaw could count on 33 percent support. PiS candidate Karol Nawrocki came second, who can count on 22 percent support. The podium is completed by the confederation candidate Sławomir Mentzen with a score of 15 percent. According to this study, Trzaskowski would also win and in the second round.

Senator Ko asked if he could still change in position number two or three, he replied that he did not think.

According to Schetyna Szymon Hołowniawhich has five percent support in the latest survey. – I think he has a chance to get more support. It will be voices at the expense of Mentzen – he said.

– If there is an active campaign of Hołownia, it will very seriously make Mentzen to fight for second position – added TVN24.
