IMWM warns against dense fog. Visibility may be significantly reduced in parts of the country. Find out where to be careful.
The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued first-degree warnings.
First degree IMWM warnings – dense fog
Yellow alerts for dense fog are in force in the following voivodeships:
- Lower Silesiain the southern part of the region;
- Opole province;
- Silesian;
- Greater Polandin Kępno County;
- Łódźin southern counties;
- Lesser Polandin western counties;
- Świętokrzyskiein western and central counties.
Dense fog is forecast and visibility may be less than 200 meters in some places.
The warnings will be valid from 11 p.m. on Sunday until 8 on Monday.
What is a first-degree IMWM warning?
Warning IMWM the first degree provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material losses and pose a threat to health and life. Conducting business in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Difficulties resulting from carrying out activities in the hazardous area should be expected, including delays caused by road traffic disruptions, disruptions in the course of outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation. Caution is recommended and there is a need to monitor the weather forecasts and developments.
