Diversion at Marywilska. Radosław Sikorski has a strong message for the Russians

Radosław Sikorski closes the Russian consulate in Krakow. It is a retort after the service that the fire at Marywilska in Warsaw was an act of sabotage, and the signal left Russia. After announcing his decision, Sikorski spoke at a press conference with “a clear message for the Russian authorities”.

On Monday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski He informed in social media that “in connection with the evidence that it was the Russian special services that made a shameful act of sabotage towards the shopping center at Marywilska”, he decided to “withdraw consent to the Consulate of the Russian Federation in Krakow.”

Sikorski: miraculously nobody died

Sikorski commented on this at a press conference on Monday. – I remind you that I have already closed the Russian consulate in Poznań after a previous act of subversive in Poland, an attempt to set fire to the paint factory in Wrocław. Yesterday, internal and justice ministers stated that we have indisputable evidence that this huge fire at Marywilska was made on behalf of Russian special services – said Sikorski.

– There miraculously no one was killed. This is not the behavior that we can tolerate. Poland, Western democracies do not make in Russia acts of diversion. So Russia does not even have the right to proportional behavior, although of course we expect it to perform it – he said.

Sikorski with a message to the Russian authorities

He reminded that “there are still over two thousand Russian diplomats in the European Union.” – And I don't see many Russian tourists in Krakow now. A large part of Russian diplomats in the European Union perform tasks that do not comply with the status of a diplomat – he added.

– This is another message to the Russian authorities. We know what you are doing, we don't accept it and we draw the consequences. That is why I appeal to my colleagues from the European Union once again to do what Poland and the Czech Republic. Namely, limit the right to move Russian diplomats to a country where they are accredited, and preferably still. In order to make them difficult to operate agents in other member countries. Russians have no right to benefit from the benefits Schengen zones – said Sikorski.

– We already know that the trail leads clearly and clearly to the east. It was Russian special services that gave the order to set fire and assassination at this hall. The signal went directly from the Russian Federation, we have already determined it all – said the press conference of the Minister of the Interior and Administration Jacek Dobrzyński on Monday at a press conference.

He said that some people were detained, among others in cooperation with the special services of Poland and Lithuaniawhere similar events also occurred. – Some people have been detained, some people have already been arrested, and some people were established and activities are underway to lead to their detention – he said. When asked if they were Russians or Poles, he replied that “the trail leads to the Russian Federation.”

He emphasized that the investigation in this matter is “tedious, laborious and multi -threaded”. “I can't provide more information at this stage,” he added.
