Dr. Starczewska-Krzysztoszek said that the entrepreneurs “were a bit disappointed because there was a little little about them.” – There were rather infrastructure, government and public investments. Whereas There was not much about how our entrepreneurs can be supported directly, even regulationsbut not only. There was a bit of this profession here – said the expert.
– On the other hand, what was a great value for them is that Finally, you could meet face -to -face decision -makers – she emphasized.

“Poland is in a very difficult economic situation”
Prof. Orłowski noted, however, that “however, politicians should be more reached that if there is no clear breakthrough in the economy at some point,” then voters can turn away from them, as happened in the United States.
– voters (Joe) Bidena In the United States, they stated that after these four years we are not better at all, so we vote back on (Donald) Trump – said the expert.
– It is definitely not like economic problems can be omitted and that it will solve itself. This will not solve itself. Poland is currently in a very difficult economic situation Because of what is happening around us, so moving the economy out of this is not an easy matter at all – added TVN24.
Prof. Orłowski also pointed out that “this is probably the first time the government met with the economic world.” – It is starting to be a priority in government, so far it has not been. (…) It is a pity that not earlier – he said.
He noted that “the economy will grow in a healthy way” if “our enterprises will invest much more than before, also in new technologies.” – As the prime minister said: investments, investments, investments. It's honey for the hearts of economists – said the expert.
“More important is what these investments will be allocated for”
The prime minister during the Monday presentation indicated that 2025 is to be record -breaking in terms of investment expenditure. According to Donald Tusk, “investments in Poland in 2025 will amount to over PLN 650 billion and this is cautious respect.”
Dr Starczewska-Krzysztoszek said that in 2023 PLN 603 billion was allocated to investments, and from non-residential data from 2024 it follows that about PLN 620 billion was allocated. “It doesn't make a big difference from my point and,” I think, “all economists,” she said.
Dr. Starczewska-Krzysztoszek: It is much more important what investments will be allocated toTvn24
– One thing is a value, i.e. how much money we will spend on investments. But maybe even much More important is what these investments will be allocated to – Will they be pro -development, pro -efficiency, or will we simply spend money on infrastructure investments that will not support economic development – the expert added.
Two problems of the Polish economy
Prof. Orłowski estimated that “650 billion this year would be very, very unsatisfactory.” – I hope it will be over PLN 700 billionwe need the so -called investment rate, i.e. the investment relationship for GDP, which is currently around 18 percent, and we need at least 20 percent or more – he estimated.
According to the guest “facts after facts” The Polish economy is now dealing with the two main problems. – It is very much Energy And the perspective of expensive energy. (…) The prime minister used to describe “Smart Investment”. Indeed, nuclear power plants need to be built, but modernization of transmission networks will give results faster – he said.
– the second problem of the Polish economy is Rising labor costs. This is a very simple recipe – you need to increase work efficiency quickly. You need to improve the technological level of the economy, you only need to invest more – he added.
When asked about the announced tax changes, Profession Orłowski said: – I will say one thing very openly: Let no one count on the fact that in the coming years significant tax reductions will be in Poland.
“There is knowledge for entrepreneurs”
During the WSE on the WSE, Prime Minister Tusk He turned to Rafał Brzoska, president of InPost, present in place. He admitted that he had recently read his statements on deregulation, in which he stated that this was not a difficult issue and he asked him for help in this regard. In the late afternoon, Tusk published a recording with Brzoska, in which he told: – Listen, he agreed.
Dr. Małgorzata Starczewska-Krzysztoszek admitted that she understands this move, because “entrepreneurs know best”. “There is knowledge for entrepreneurs, if we have to regulate what should be regulated,” she said.
She also said that she had “several reservations” about the Brzoska proposal. – One reservation is that the Prime Minister said that these proposals of Mr. Brzoska's team cannot be proposals that will change the laws, i.e. I understand that it was about something that has provisions in the ordinances – she said.
– On the other hand, If officials create a law, then entrepreneurs should be presentorganizations of entrepreneurs. However, if it is to be presented by entrepreneurs, it seems to me that officials should also participate from the very beginning to understand why such regulations are proposed – she explained.
