If a Polish citizen decided to set on fire on behalf of the services, then it must be treated as an act of betrayal – said Donald Tusk during check -in in the Biebrza National Park. The government will discuss the issue of arson at the Tuesday meeting of the Council of Ministers.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk and boss Of the Ministry of Interior and Administration Tomasz Siemoniak took part in the briefing of services in Grzędze in the Biebrza National Park, which has been digested by fire for two days.
During severance pay, Tusk was asked about increased penalties for arsonists. He noted that “for now there is no signal that a fire in the Biebrza National Park was a consequence of intentional arson.”
– If there were arson on behalf of foreign services, for the money, then (I am for this – ed.), That the penalties are as stretch as possible. In the event that a Polish citizen decided to order the services (to set fire – ed.), In my opinion it must be treated as an act of betrayal. It is out of the discussion – said Tusk.
He added that “all the time we are also dealing with stupid, intentional arson”, which takes place, among others on the occasion of burning grass and meadows.
The government will discuss the issue of arson at the Tuesday meeting of the Council of Ministers.
“Sometimes a higher penalty makes the need for discipline”
– Certainly, everything that will have the signs of a purposeful arson or obvious, unforgivable stupidity, we will introduce new rules – he noted. He also added that drought will clearly increase the fire risk throughout the country.
– We all have to learn more discipline, and sometimes a higher punishment makes more aware of the need for discipline – he emphasized. He reported that he would talk about it at Tuesday's meeting of the government.
