“It's not that much.”

From the consumer's point of view, this reduction in the price of butter is very important. Especially in the pre-Christmas period – said economist SÅ‚awomir Kalinowski on TVN24 on Wednesday, commenting on the tender announced by the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves.

– On the other hand, a thousand tons is 5 million cubes of butter. This is not so much that we should be afraid of any major market disruptions in this respect – he added.

In the opinion of the head of the Polish Chamber of Milk, Agnieszka Maliszewska, selling butter from the agency's resources is a political decision that will not change the situation on the market. Maliszewska pointed out that 18-21 thousand are produced in Poland every month. tons of butter. – Someone will probably buy this butter and export it to where they will earn more – said the head of PIM.
