– On March 25, I lost my life for three and a half minutes. I thank God that I was born again. This is the reality of the moment. I've talked about it with my family, friends and doctors. We've made the decision to end my career. I'm going to stop being a professional footballer. I don't want to be sad because that was the message I wanted to send. I want to be optimistic because life goes on and we'll always have tough battles, he added at the end. Dragisa Gudelj started his career with the Dutch team NAC Breda, from where he moved to the youth team of Ajax Amsterdam. He then went to the Swiss FC Wohlen and Portuguese Guimaraes.
