The largest Russian refinery in Crimea was almost completely destroyed after a successful Ukrainian attack on October 7, media report, citing the group of Ukrainian analysts OSINT-Cyberboroshno. The oil base burned for more than five days and 12 tanks were damaged.
The oil terminal in Feodosia is the largest Russian terminal in Crimea in terms of transshipment of petroleum products, used, among others, for the needs of the Russian army. This base was already attacked by Ukrainian drones in March.
Satellite photos of an oil terminal in occupied Crimea, which burned for more than five days after the Ukrainian attack, indicate its almost complete destruction, reports the Cyberboroshno analytical project.
A total of 12 tanks were damaged and eight were completely destroyed. Buildings within the facility's territory were also burned. The explosions and fire began on October 7. Ukrainian forces attacked the largest oil terminal in Crimea using drones.

State of emergency
As the media point out, citing experts, a fire of this type cannot be extinguished. All you can do is wait until it burns out completely and stops on its own. The Russian occupation authorities announced the stabilization of the situation only on Saturday, six days after the attack. A state of emergency was declared in the region.
It was necessary to evacuate about a thousand local residents. Despite the authorities' assurances that the concentration limits for harmful substances had not been exceeded, residents complained of various ailments, including nausea and cough.
