1. UNICEF: the Polish population has lost collective immunity to measles
Doctors appealed for children to be vaccinated against measles and warned. Unfortunately, the worst-case scenario is coming true. UNICEF warns that the Polish population has lost its collective immunity. The reason is low vaccination rates. They are well below the safety threshold of 95 percent.
For several months now, a wave of illnesses has been sweeping through Poland. Since the beginning of the year, the sanitary-epidemiological station has recorded 232 cases of measles. In the same period last year, there were only 22.

2. The prosecutor's office will appeal the decision in the Romanowski case
– The prosecutor's office has established that the immunity of a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe does not exclude the possibility of pressing charges, detention and arrest – said the Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General at a press conference Adam Bodnar.
He added that the court's decision to arrest Marcin Romanowski “does not in any way rule out” the investigation into the Justice Fund. He also announced that the prosecutor's office will appeal the court's decision in the “coming days.”
3. Charges against Czarnecki
The prosecutor's office issued a decision to present charges To Ryszard Czarnecki. He will also summon the former MEP for questioning as a suspect. Investigators have not given a specific date.
The investigation into the adverse disposition of property was initiated following a notification by the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF).
