1. The Sejm decided on Ziobro's immunity, Mejza waived it himself
The Sejm agreed to detain and forcibly bring Zbigniew Ziobro before the investigative commission into the Pegasus case. The person concerned himself had previously said from the parliamentary podium that he considered the commission's actions to be unlawful.

Another PiS MP, Ćukasz Mejza, said during Thursday's Sejm session that waives his immunity. He said that he had a completely clear conscience and would be happy to face “Bodnar's prosecutor's office.” The prosecutor's office is investigating the property declarations submitted by a PiS MP.
2. Olgierd L. was charged
Olgierd L., detained in GdaĆsk by the Internal Security Agency, was charged in the National Prosecutor's Office in WrocĆaw with a total of five crimes, including the charge of participating in an organized group aimed at committing various types of crimes.
The man pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and refused to provide explanations.

Olgierd L. has recently been loud due to the “report” about Karol Nawrocki, the PiS candidate for president. This document describes Nawrocki's connections with the underworld, including Olgierd L. The authors of the study included, among other things, a short discussion “Superwizjer” material from 2019. This is a reportage titled “Hooligan, Nazi, bandit”.
3. CBA agents entered the Lux Veritatis foundation
Agents of the Central Anticorruption Bureau, ordered by the prosecutor's office, conducted searches in the buildings of the Lux Veritatis foundation.
This is an agreement concluded with the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The president of Lux Veritatis is Father Tadeusz Rydzyk.
4. Russia closes the Polish consulate general in St. Petersburg
The Polish consulate general in St. Petersburg will be closed on January 10 next year, and three of our diplomats have been declared persona non grata and are to leave the country, according to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In response, RadosĆaw Sikorski said that Warsaw was taking this step with “dignified indifference”.
5. Earthquake in California
Strong earthquake was recorded 63 kilometers west of the city of Ferndale, California, which lies in a sparsely populated part of the northern California coast.
It had a magnitude of 7. According to the United States Geological Survey, the hypocenter occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
