France, Paris. Chase after the driver, an accident involving police cars

On Saturday in Paris there was a pursuit of a driver who did not stop the vehicle for road check. As a result, four cars collided with each other, including three police police cars. 14 people, including 10 policemen, were injured. – I thought they were making a film – said one of the witnesses of the accident, quoted by the daily “Le Parisien”.

The incident occurred before 6 am near the Montparnasse station in the 15th district of Paris.

The driver did not stop his vehicle by passing on a red light. During the pursuit, three police cars hit the escaping car. 10 policemen were slightly injured, as well as a driver and three passengers of a vehicle of 19, 22 and 30 years old. All injured persons have already been discharged from the hospital. The prefect of the capital police Laurent Nunez, that all three were arrested, of which two of these people were already known to the police.

“It is a miracle that no one has died,” said Anthony Samama, deputy mayor of the 15th district.
