How is playing in the cloud?
GeForce Now operates on the same principles as playing on each computer, only when using this service this computer is not in the same room as the player. It is virtually in the cloud on a powerful NVIDIA server. We do not have to buy and have any equipment, except for controllers such as mouse, keyboard or gamepad, and of course the screen on which the game will be displayed. You do not need to invest a thousand zlotys in a gaming PC to enjoy its possibilities. You just buy, for much smaller money, access to the same computing power. And it is used in the most convenient way.
The greatest advantage GeForce Now services It is possible to use it through a wide range of devices. It works just as well on a small smartphone, a tablet with a larger screen, an ordinary office computer or a laptop without a dedicated graphics card and a large TV in the living room. Applications that make it possible to play through the mediation of GeForce Nowa on virtually every platform, without a difference or based on Android, iOS, Windows or Smart TV operating systems. From the beginning of 2025, GeForce Now also works on a mobile equipment such as Steam Deck and in addition also serves augmented headsettes and virtual reality – Pico, Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3 and 3S. The only requirement It is enough for a quick and stable position with the Internet, with even under the largest load of data transfer, the service will not use even one thousand this, a standard, gigabit -proof liner. And it also easily operates through the mediation of the home wireless network, if our Wi-Fi has been supporting the 5 GHz transmission, which has been standard for a good few years in the most of the routers.
Is there really no difference?
Of course, a strong gaming PC or laptop still has the advantage over GeForce Now. But already much smaller than even a year ago. And this is because at the end of previous year's holidays, our local Polish GeForce Now server was finally launched in Warsaw. Thanks to him, the ability caused by the streaming of the game fell to just a few/several milliseconds, i.e. a level practically imperceptible in the vast majority of games. Especially the single ones, but not only, because many titles focusing on the competition of multiplayer also do very well GeForce Now. Since the Uprising of the Warsaw Server, the ability is so low that it is only important in the case of really dynamic high-level e-sports competitions.
But there must be a difference in quality, right? The video streams from the server cannot, after all, offer such visual impressions that a top graphics card in a stationary PC is able to generate. Theoretically, it is not true. In practice, however, it can be different, because GeForce Now can even offer much better graphics. It all depends on what plan we use. You can choose three – Diemieczny, Performance and Ultimate. The first one is free (and as the only one contains advertising), the second costs PLN 54 per month, and the best costs PLN 108 months. On the plans of Performance and Ultimate, you can save about 10 percent, buying half -packets. Daily access is also included in the offer.
Already the Performance plan allows you to play 1440p with maximum graphic settings and possibilities offered by RTX cards such as ray-tracking. Ultimate, in turn, gives access to the power cards RTX 4080 and enables playing 4K resolutions in full splendor, with plain, reaching up to 240 frames per second and additional support of advanced artificial intelligence DLSS and technologies such as NVIDIA Reflex or Cloud G-Sync. The difference in quality is therefore noticeable, but if we do not have the latest generation game console at home or the PC gaming beast, on which we spent a beautiful sum, in the case of the Ultimate RTX 4080 option, the difference will be rather on the benefit of geForce.
Over two thousand games
GeForce Now is a powerful, virtual game computer. We have to take care of the latter ourselves. With service you can include your accounts on other platforms – not only Steam, GOG or Epic, but also EA APP, Ubisoft Connect, and also Xbox Live. And if the game in our library is served by GeForce Now, nothing will prevent you from playing. And the chance that the title is indeed served, is very high, especially if it is a production released in recent years. List of games working in GeForce Now It already has over two thousand positions and more are added every week. We will find not only the hottest hits, but also the iconic classics, and in addition to the high -budget Aaa hits, there was a place on GeForce Now servers for hundreds of great independent games. All species are represented in large numbers, so it is worth recommending this service of console players who would like to try to be available on the PC of strategic games, roguelels or adventures.
