– Poland is threatened by a hybrid war from Belarus and Russia, which use immigrants as weapons – said Alexander Dobrindt, an MP from the opposition Bavarian CSU. – The goal is to destabilize the entire Poland, even the entire European Union – he continued. On Wednesday in the Bundestag, Dobrindt called on German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to support the migration strategy of the head of the Polish government.
The CSU MP, during a parliamentary discussion on the Chancellor's government statement before the EU summit, said that “a clear signal of support from Germany would be necessary right now.” He emphasized that this is important to “provide a decisive response to this hybrid threat to the EU.” – Mr. Chancellor, you did not give such a decisive answer – criticized Scholz.
– Mr. Chancellor, a few months ago you said here that Donald Tusk would lead Poland back to the center of the European Union. Now Tusk is considering taking steps that will significantly change the asylum system. He said he intended to suspend the right to asylum at its external borders, Dobrindt said during a parliamentary discussion on Scholz's government statement ahead of the EU summit.
