On the island of Paros, strong storms caused extensive floods, especially in the villages of Naousissa and Kollymbithres. Firefighters saved two people trapped in vehicles, and also helped 13 other people ensure safety.

“The situation is particularly difficult along the Parikia -Nousoussa route,” said the mayor of Konstantinos Bizas, adding that the Naoussa River spilled and swept cars near the bridge. A total ban on traffic on all roads on the island has been introduced to Paros.
