The chandeliers at Konstytucji Square are 70 years old
“A candelabra is a large, standing, multi-branched candlestick, made mainly of metal, and also a decorative, multi-branched lantern. Candlesticks, called candelabra, were already known in ancient times. At the end of the 17th century, two-branched candelabra were fashionable, in the 18th century three-branched, and later multi-branched (…). The candelabra at Plac Konstytucji are eight-branched and for almost seventy years, they have been pleasing the eyes of residents and guests of the capital after dark” – we can read in the social media of the PoWarszawsku profile dedicated to Warsaw.
