Poland is under the influence of the sunny Igor high with its center located near Ireland. – The cold polar air that has flowed into Poland will start to be pushed out from the south by tropical air masses coming from northern Africa – informed tvnmeteo.pl weather forecaster Arleta Unton-Pyziołek.

– On Thursday, however, summer lows will begin to develop in the hot air over southern and central Europe, which will favor the formation of storm fronts – the weather forecaster said. In the second half of the week, southern and central regions of Poland will be within their range.

Tuesday will bring small and moderate cumulus cloudiness. Thermometers will show a maximum of 23 degrees Celsius in the Suwałki region and the Gulf of Gdańsk, through 26 degrees Celsius in the centre of the country, to 27 degrees Celsius in the southwest. There will be a north-westerly wind, weak and moderate, quite strong in the northeast, in gusts it can accelerate to 50 kilometers per hour.

Wednesday will be sunny. Thermometers will show maximums of 25°C in Kashubia, Warmia and Suwałki Region, through 27°C in the center of the country, to 29°C in Silesia. North-westerly winds will be weak and moderate.

On Thursday, small and moderate cumulus cloudiness is forecast, which will increase to large in the west and south of Poland. Where it is cloudy, there will be rain with an intensity of 10-30 liters of water per square meter, and there will also be storms. The temperature at the warmest moment of the day will range from 24°C in Western Pomerania, through 27°C in the center of the country, to 31°C in Małopolska and Podkarpacie. The wind will be north-westerly, weak and moderate, strong in storms.

On Friday there will be moderate and large cumulus cloudiness. In the south and center of the country there will be periods of rain up to 10-20 l/m2, in places there will be thunder. Thermometers will show a maximum of 23 degrees Celsius in Podlasie, through 26 degrees Celsius in the center of the country, to 28 degrees Celsius in Podkarpacie. The north-west wind will be moderate, strong in storms.

On Saturday, small and moderate cumulus cloudiness is expected, only in the southwest, occasionally large with occasional rain showers up to 5-10 l/m2. The maximum temperature will be from 25 degrees Celsius in Podlasie, through 27 degrees Celsius in the center of the country, to 28 degrees Celsius in Silesia. There will be a north-westerly, weak and moderate wind.
