A strong earthquake was recorded on Friday in the central part of Burma. The shocks were felt, among others, in the capital of Thailand. Mr. Hubert, who is in Bangkok, wrote to the editorial office of contact24. He managed to capture on the recording the moment at which you can see water pouring out of the pool on the roof of the skyscraper.
The earthquake hit Burma on Friday. The shocks were strongly felt in neighboring Thailand. Mr. Hubert, who is in Bangkok, contacted the editors of contact24. He managed to capture the moment when you can see water pouring out of the swimming pool on the roof of the skyscraper. – We were in a shopping center, a huge, seven -story building. Around 13.20 I felt dizzy and thought it was because of the heat. After a second, the evacuation suddenly began, people began to run down and outside the building. I don't know how to behave in such a situation, we don't experience it in Poland. Do you run underground or to the court? We went where the locations – he reported.
Shocks felt in Bangkok. “Everything lasted 30 seconds”
Not knowing how to behave, Mr. Hubert decided to follow the residents. They ran out into an open space between skyscrapers, where the buildings swaying sideways were visible.
– Most of the buildings at the top have pools, so the traffic was more visible thanks to water waterfalls. Everything lasted 30 seconds. For over two hours we have been standing at the evacuation site and clearly nobody knows how to behave. We don't know if you can go back to work, to normality. Lack of any coordination of behavior – he said. – Fortunately, we got water from someone. However, there is over 30 degrees here and it can be fainted in such a place. Most people behaved calmly, talk to each other as if it was a normal situation in their country. Several people were more panicked. Nothing happened to anyone in our area – he added.
