LOT Polish Airlines inaugurated the connection on the Warsaw-Reykjavik route. Poles constitute six percent of the Iceland population. The whole island is inhabited by 384,000 people, which is slightly less than Szczecin. Reykjavik is not the only new direction in the summer flight schedule from the Warsaw airport.
The first flight from Chopin Airport in Warsaw to Keflavik airport near Reykjavik took place on Saturday. The cruises will take place four times a week – they inform LOT Polish airlines on your website. The published schedule shows that flights on Iceland – with a change in the capital – they are also planned from airports in Krakow, Poznań, Wrocław, Katowice, Lublin, Rzeszów, Gdańsk, Bydgoszcz, Szczecin and Zielona Góra.
New directions in the connection network
Reykjavik is not the only new direction in the summer flight schedule from the Warsaw airport. On April 16, the flight will start cruises to the capital Malta – Valetty. From June 17, the Polish carrier will fly to the salons in Greece. “The route is to be year -round, although in winter a limitation is planned to four cruises a week,” Chopin's airport informed.
