IMGW has published a threat forecast. As synoptics predict, in the following days we will have to return winter threats – apart from night temperature drops by the ground, which can cover all of Poland, snowfall is expected locally.
Synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued a threat forecast for the next days.

On Wednesday, frosts may appear in several foothill poviats in voivodships Lower Silesia, Silesian and Lesser Poland.

On Thursday, frosts are not expected, but the alarms are to come back before this phenomenon On Friday in the following voivodships: West Pomeranian, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Pomeranian, Warmian-Masurian, Podlasie and in the north province Mazowieckie.

On Saturday, frosts are expected throughout the country. In the border poviats of voivodships Silesia, Lesser Poland and Podkarpackie Alarms may appear before snowfall.

What is the first degree meteorological warning
According to the IMGW definition, the first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that can cause material losses and a threat to health and life. Expect difficulties resulting from conducting activities in the area of threat, including delays caused by traffic difficulties, disturbances in outdoor events or the possibility of their dismissal.
