Synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued first degree warnings on a three -stage, growing scale.
IMGW first degree warnings – heavy snowfall
Yellow alarms before intense snow apply in voivodships:
Periods are forecast by snowfall causing a snow cover increase by 15 to 20 centimeters.
The warnings are to be in force until noon on Sunday.
First degree warnings IMGW – strong frost
Warnings against severe frost were issued in voivodships:
- Lesser Polandin the following poviats: Tatra, Nowotarski, Nowosądecki, and Gorlice;
- Podkarpackiein the following poviats: Jasielski, Krosno, Sanocki, Leski, Bieszczady.
In these regions, the minimum temperature at night from -17 to -15 degrees Celsius is forecasted, locally to -19 degrees C. The maximum temperature during the day will be only from -7 to -3 degrees C. Mroz is to be accompanied by a wind at medium speed from 5 to 10 kilometers per hour.
Alarms are to apply until 9 on Tuesday, but they can be continued.
