IMWM warnings – heavy rainfall
Yellow alerts have been issued for the following voivodeships:
Rainfall of moderate intensity, sometimes heavy, ranging from 30 to 40 liters per square meter is forecast there. The warnings will be valid until midnight on Saturday.
What is a first-degree IMWM warning?
Warning IMWM the first degree provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material losses and pose a threat to health and life. Conducting business in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Difficulties resulting from carrying out activities in the hazardous area should be expected, including delays caused by road traffic disruptions, disruptions in the course of outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation. Caution is recommended and there is a need to monitor the weather forecasts and developments.
