The tragedy occurred in Ireland near the village of Killucan at around 3:30 p.m. (4:30 p.m. in Poland). For unknown reasons, the helicopter hit a building there, which was part of a farm. Unfortunately, two people lost their lives as a result of this accident.

According to the British “The Guardian”, citing local police, the crash resulted in the death of two men around 40 years old. One of them was an Irish citizen and the other was probably from “Eastern Europe”.
Earlier, a fire department official told the media that initial reports indicated there were “many casualties.” However, at that stage he could not confirm the number.
Irish public radio RTÉ reported that the fire brigade, police, ambulance and a hearse were called to the scene. The bodies of the victims were taken to Mullingar Regional Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out. It is understood that the emergency services they have already contacted the family deceased Irishman.
'Shocking and tragic' helicopter crashes into building
The incident was analyzed by a special unit for air accident investigation.
After 10 p.m. the unit reported that its inspectors had left the crash site after several hours of inspection. However work is scheduled to resume on Wednesday morning.
The county's mayor, Ken Glynn, described the incident as “shocking and tragic”. He added that his thoughts and prayers went out to the victims' loved ones. The Irish prime minister also responded to the tragedy. “Thinking of all those involved in the helicopter crash in Westmeath. (…) My thoughts and gratitude also go out to all the emergency services who are trying to help,” Simon Harris wrote on social media.
