Israel conflict – Iran. What's going on, what we know about attacks, how it started

The conflict between Israel and Iran is underway. The countries have already exchanged several waves of mutual attacks. We present the most important events.

1. Israel attacked Iran

On the night of Thursday to Friday, before 3 o'clock, Polish time, Israel started an attack on Iran. There were several raid waves. Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu He stated that these are ahead of aheading strokes, which aim is to prevent Iran from capturing nuclear weapons.

In an Israeli attack on Iran, they died leading Iranian military commanders. Among the victims are, among others, the commander of the Islamic Revolution Corps Hossein Salami and the Chief of General Staff of Mohammad Bagheri. Later Iran leader Ayatollah Ali Chamenei appointed new highest commanders military in the country.

At least six scientists associated with nuclear energy also died in the attack.

2. Announcement of retaliation

Supreme Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Chamenei announced retaliation. He said that Israel would “bear a strict punishment” for a Friday attack, aimed at an Iranian nuclear program. In the morning Iran said that he fired 100 drones towards Israel. According to the Saudi portal Al Arabiya, the army intercepted all unmanned aerial vehicles.

3. Donald Trump's reaction

4. Israel closes the embassies

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem has announced about indefinite closure of all Israeli diplomatic missions in the world. 5. Retaliation of Iran

Iran's retaliation took place after 20 Polish time. The Israeli army reported that most of the Iranian rockets managed to shoot down. The explosions were heard, among others, in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

According to Reuters, one of the skyscrapers in Tel Aviv was hit by a rocket. During the first wave of raids, 63 people were injured. It was later reported that a seriously injured woman died in a hospital from wounds.

6. Night attacks of Israel and Iran

At night from Friday to Saturday there was another wave of rocket attacks. Iran again attacked Israel, and the Israeli army announced that it bombed the bases of Iranian air forces in the west of this country.

The hospital in Tel Aviv accepted seven wounded, most of which suffered mild injuries.
