Defense Minister Israel Kac admitted on Monday, for the first time publicly, that Israel is behind the killing of Palestinian Hamas leader Ismail Haniji, who was killed in the capital at the end of July IranTehran.

The defense minister also threatened Yemen Houthi rebelswho send drones to Israeli cities and fire them with rockets. On the night from Friday to Saturday, one of them injured 16 people in Tel Aviv.

Haniye was killed in an airstrike in Tehran that Hamas and Iran attributed to Israel. The Hamas leader permanently lived in Qatarand he came to Iran on the occasion of the inauguration of President Massoud Pezeshkan.
