A district police officer from Jaktorów arrived at the house of a 68-year-old man as part of an inspection of addresses where lonely elderly people live. His findings showed that the man had not been seen by anyone recently.
– When staff aspirant Przemysław Sawicki entered the cold house, he found a resident lying in bed. Difficult contact indicated the need for urgent medical assistance. A doctor called by the district police officer diagnosed a suspected stroke and hypothermia – informs staff aspirant Katarzyna Zych, spokeswoman for the District Police Headquarters in Grodzisk Mazowiecki.

The ambulance team transported the 68-year-old to hospital. The police say that he received medical help in time. – The district police officer notified the local Social Welfare Center about the need for further care for the resident – noted the spokeswoman of the Grodzisk police station.
