The accident occurred at the 33rd kilometer of national road number 16 on the section Łasin – Iława in Jankowice. The van hit a tree, and gas cylinders fell out on the road. One person was injured.

– A van that transported propane-butane gas cylinders during the passing maneuver pulled over to the side of the road. The right wheel of the vehicle caught a piece of the earth side and pulled it completely to the right, as a result of which he hit a tree – said Brigadier Paweł Korgol, press officer of the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Grudziądz.
