Jankowice. A van carrying gas cylinders hit a tree

In Jankowice (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship) a van transporting gas cylinders hit a tree. One person was injured.

The accident occurred at the 33rd kilometer of national road number 16 on the section Łasin – Iława in Jankowice. The van hit a tree, and gas cylinders fell out on the road. One person was injured.

– A van that transported propane-butane gas cylinders during the passing maneuver pulled over to the side of the road. The right wheel of the vehicle caught a piece of the earth side and pulled it completely to the right, as a result of which he hit a tree – said Brigadier Paweł Korgol, press officer of the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Grudziądz.

Two people traveled by car. The passenger was injured and taken to the hospital for examination.

Five fire brigades, the police and the emergency medical team worked on the spot.
