Szczecin policemen wanted to stop the driver who did not have daytime lights for inspection. The man tried to run away. After stopping, during the inspection it came to light that he has intoxicants with him.
The incident occurred on March 1 on one of the roads in Jelenin, where police controlled the speed of passing by. They noticed the Audi driver who did not have daytime lights and decided to stop him for control.
“At the sight of the officer stopping him, the driver slowed down, and then moved with impetus without stopping to control. Despite the used sound and flash signals, the driver continued his escape without following the commands issued by policemen” – we read in a police communication.
He had drugs in the car
After arresting the 28-year-old, it came to light that the day before he had a court ban on driving. Policemen found a string pouches with a dried plant and a white, closed substance at a resident of Szczecinek. Later studies have shown that it was marijuana and methamphetamine. Blood was also taken from the driver for further tests.
The 28-year-old heard allegations of drug possession and not keeping up to police control. By the decision of the prosecutor, until the end of the proceedings, the man will be under police supervision.
He faces up to five years in prison.
