The driver stopped before the pedestrian crossing in Kalisz to pass a walking child. However, other cars entered the lanes. The police publish a recording as a warning.

According to the police, a dangerous situation occurred in Kalisz on Aleja Wojska Polskiego. It was recorded by the driver who stopped before the pedestrian crossing.

The film shows that the girl passing through one girl behaves prescribed and carefully: she leaves the island only when the car stops, looks carefully. This vigilance could save her life – at some point a car waiting before the crossing pass two other vehicles, which fall on the lanes at high speed without stopping. After a few seconds, the scared girl returns to the island.

“There was little, and a properly passing child through a marked pedestrian crossing would be hit,” the police said in a communiqué.

“For the offense of a resident of the Kalisz poviat, which did not give way to pedestrian, she met a severe penalty in the form of a PLN 1500 fine and 15 penalty points,” says Kaliska Police.
