She had less than 30 minutes to reach the conservative group of voters. Kamala Harris, in an interview for the right-wing Fox News station favorable to Donald Trump, admitted that she represented a new generation of leaders. – My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden's presidency – says Kamala Harris, vice president of the United States and Democratic presidential candidate.

The Democratic candidate said the former president was “unbalanced.” – I believe that Americans are ready to close the chapter on the divisions and rhetoric that came from Donald Trump. People are ready to forge a new path forward, said Kamala Harris.

Harris promised that if she wins, she will take into account the suggestions of Republicans who support her. She defended Joe Biden's mental fitness, his years as vice president and the current administration's handling of illegal immigration. She blamed Republicans for failing to pass the border security bill.

– I'm not proud to say this is a perfect immigration system. “I made it clear that it was broken and that it needed to be fixed,” Kamala Harris said.

Journalist Brett Baier often interjected Harris. The Democratic candidate appeared frustrated. She accused the station of whitewashing Trump's words, including a statement in which Trump called his political rivals “internal enemies.” She also responded to accusations that her presidency would not differ from the current president's policy.

– Like every new president who takes office, I will bring my life and professional experiences as well as fresh and new ideas – assured Kamala Harris.

– She was tough, she spoke wisely, she was focused and disciplined. She used the qualities that made her a good prosecutor and will make her an effective president. She has entered territory that is not ideologically friendly – says Pete Buttigieg, United States Secretary of Transportation, in Kamala Harris's interview.

Minutes after the interview ended, Trump's campaign released a statement calling it a “disaster.”

Before appearing on Fox News, Harris attended a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. She was accompanied by over a hundred Republicans who support her candidacy. They included Adam Kinzinger, a former congressman and member of the committee that investigated the attack on the Capitol.

– In a typical election year, your presence might be surprising. I dare say it's unusual, but not in this election. At stake in this race are the democratic ideals that our founders and generations of Americans before us fought for. The very Constitution of the United States is at stake in this election. We are here today because we share the belief that we should put our country above party lines, Kamala Harris said at the rally.

While Kamala Harris was fighting for Republican votes, Donald Trump was trying to gain support among Latino voters. The former president took part in a meeting organized by the Spanish-language station Univision in Florida. While answering voters' questions, he repeated a false theory about immigrants eating pets in Ohio.

– Such cases have been reported. I'm talking about what has been reported. Immigrants also eat other things they shouldn't. I'm just informing. I wasn't there, but I will go and look into the matter and then give you a full report. Trump was trying to reach more than just Latino voters. On the day Kamala Harris was a guest on Fox News, the network broadcast a recording of Donald Trump's meeting with women in Georgia, during which the former president called himself the “father of in vitro fertilization.”

Trump said “everyone” wanted Roe v. Wade repealed and states allowed to set abortion policy. According to a survey conducted by the KFF organization, nearly 40 percent of women under 30 consider the issue of abortion to be the most important issue in the upcoming presidential elections.
