There are many voters who vote for Law and Justice regardless of who their candidate is, said Dorota Łoboda (PO) in “Fakty po Faktach”. Paweł Śliz (Poland 2050) said that PiS's nomination of the president of the Institute of National Remembrance, Karol Nawrocki, and arguing that he is a “civic” candidate is “conjuring reality.”
The spokeswoman of the Civic Coalition club, Dorota Łoboda (PO), and the head of the Polish 2050-Trzecia Droga club, Paweł Śliz, spoke in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24 about next year's presidential elections and commented on PiS putting the president of the Institute of National Remembrance in the race. Karol Nawrocki.
As Łoboda assured, “we certainly do not underestimate Karol Nawrocki as a presidential candidate.” Although, in her opinion, the Sunday convention organized by Law and Justice, at which his start was announced, “wasn't stunning”, it “doesn't mean that he won't have a lot of support”.
– There are simply still many voters who vote for Law and Justice regardless of who their candidate will be. And regardless of whether he has a Law and Justice badge or is a civic candidate promoted by Law and Justice, he will definitely be a very serious rival, she said.
According to MP Nawrocki, “it should be treated seriously and not underestimated, because there are probably millions of voters behind him.” – You have to be prepared for a hard and exhausting fight from the first day of the campaign until election day – she emphasized.
“It's hiding the sign because they know that the PiS sign is not a good advertisement”
Śliz also stated that “no opponent should be underestimated.” He also said that “saying: 'This is not a party candidate, this is a citizen's candidate' is distorting reality.”
He noted that during the convention “all the leading Law and Justice politicians sat in the front benches.” – This is simply hiding the sign, because they know that the Law and Justice sign is not a good advertisement – he added.
