Krzysztof Izdebski, an expert of the Stefan Batory Foundation, assessed in “Facts after Facts” on TVN24 that the story with the second apartment of Karol Nawrocki “is not good” for the PiS candidate. In his opinion, she undermines “something on which PiS built his story in 2015”.

The controversy around the apartment of Karol Nawrocki was dominated by the election campaign on Monday. During the press conference in Węgrów, Nawrocki answered questions related to his second apartment and a former tenant who was to look after in exchange for the donation of a studio.

“Nawrocki has lower support than the declared support for PiS”

According to Krzysztof Izdebski, an expert of the Stefan Batory, the case with the second apartment of Nawrocki “not” will affect the campaign. According to the guest “facts after facts” a significant decrease in the declared support for the PiS candidate “probably will not occur”.

The conversation raised the topic of a Sunday statement published by the spokeswoman of the PiS candidate Emilia Wierzbicki. According to the guest of TVN24, it was “unsuccessful” and was to show Nawrocki as “a person who helps”.

– Anyway, he has already answered this specific question and that's where these problems with this apartment – said Krzysztof Izdebski. He added that Nawrocki “explaining it does not fully serve”. “This is a certain strategy of a certain escape,” he pointed out.

– It is in these polarized elections that the issue of mobilization of supporters and demobilization of opponents is also important – emphasized Krzysztof Izdebski.
