Serious accident in Kawęczyn near Radomsko (Łódź Voivodeship). A 25-year-old woman driving a passenger car hit a 69-year-old cyclist. The driver of the bike was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
The incident occurred on October 17 around 3 p.m. in Kawęczyn. The police officer on duty in Radomsko received a report about road accident involving a cyclist.

– According to the findings of the policemen working at the scene, the incident involved a 69-year-old cyclist and a Seat passenger car driven by a 25-year-old woman. The driver of the two-wheeler suffered life-threatening injuries, an Air Ambulance helicopter was called to the scene and transported the woman to hospital – says aspirant Dariusz Kaczmarek, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Radomsko.
