A 19-year-old man detained by the police for inspection had almost two per mille of alcohol in his body. It turned out that he did not have a driving license and his car had no current technical inspections and compulsory insurance. The young man faces imprisonment and a heavy fine.
A report about a Renault driver who may be under the influence of alcohol was received by the police officer in Puławy on Sunday (October 20) after 6 p.m. The reporting party showed that the driver was not keeping track and was driving to the side of the road. The police stopped the indicated vehicle in Kurów.

The examination showed that the 19-year-old driver of the Renault was drunk. The man had almost two per mille of alcohol in his body. After checking the police system, it turned out that he did not have the right to drive motor vehicles. – Additionally, his car did not have current technical inspections or mandatory insurance. However, the driver had an explanation for getting behind the wheel. He told the police that he had already signed up for a driving course and showed proof of payment, reported Commissioner Ewa Rejn-Kozak from the police in Puławy.
He faces imprisonment and a heavy fine
The 19-year-old driver was taken into police custody. On Monday, when he sobered up, he was interrogated. Now he faces imprisonment of up to three years and a heavy fine. He will also be disqualified from driving motor vehicles for at least three years.
