Policemen from Łódź detained two men from the hooligan community, suspected of participating in an organized criminal group, robbery using a dangerous tool and placing significant amounts of drugs on the market. – The detainees are associated with the militia of one of the Łódź football clubs – informs KWP in Łódź. Both were detained on remand.

Officers from the Department of Combating the Crime of Pseudo-Team and the Investigation Department of the KWP in Łódź have been working on the case regarding an organized criminal group for several weeks, whose members are hooligans associated with one of the Łódź football teams.

The National Prosecutor's Office, which supervises the case, issued a decision to detain two people.

Prosecutor's allegations and arrest

According to subcomfolleous, Adam Dembiński from the KWP in Łódź, on March 18 officers received addresses at which men could stay. One of them was detained at the Retkinia estate. – Criminals watched one of the properties in Łódź at Maratońska Street. They noticed the 41-year-old who left the building in their interest, got into the personal Renault and drove away. The decision to stop was made immediately. Policemen chose a convenient, safe place and took action. The man had handcuffs after a while. Policemen searched his apartment and two passenger cars. Knowing that there may be drugs in the premises, a guide with a service dog participated in the activities. In the course of the activities carried out, the police revealed almost 13 kg of various drugs, including marijuana – a policeman reports.

The second men – which was to be particularly dangerous – was detained near Łódź. – The policemen went to the workplace of the 25-year-old in the Łaski poviat. He was surprised by the rapid stop. And in this case, the police searched his place of residence. During these activities, they found a total of 283 grams of gross amphetamine, methamphetamine and marijuana – adds subcommmberler Adam Dembiński.

Both men heard allegations of participation in an organized criminal group, robbery using a dangerous tool and placing significant amounts of intoxicants on the market. They are punishable by up to 20 years in prison. By court decision they were detained on remand. The case – according to the police – is of a developmental nature.
