A Delta Airlines plane may have collided with an Embraer E135 at Los Angeles International Airport. The serious incident occurred when he was taking off and leaving the ground. The second machine contained the Gonzaga University basketball team.
The incident occurred on December 27 in the afternoon. As the Delta Airlines flight was taking off, a Key Lime Air Embraer E135 was urgently ordered to stop short of the runway.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the body that oversees civil aviation in the United States, the jet carrying the Gonzaga University men's basketball team overshot the guardrails and stopped just short of the edge of the runway where the second plane was taking off. This occurred after shouts of “Stop, stop, stop” from the controllers.
