Policemen from Lubartów (Lublin) intervened regarding a small squirrel. They got a report that a helpless animal was lying under the tree. The squirrel fell out of the hollow and was unable to move independently. Now he is under the care of specialists.
It was an unusual report. Before noon, the police were alerted that on Lipowa Street in Lubartów, under one of the trees, lies a small, helpless animal.
When the uniforms arrived, they noticed a tiny squirrel, which most likely fell out of the hollow. The animal was too small to move on their own.

They transported her to a veterinarian
“The officers carefully secured the squirrel to ensure its heat and safety. Then they decided to transport her to the nearest veterinarian, where the animal received professional help,” writes the younger aspirant Jagoda Maj from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Lubartów.
The squirrel went to a specialist institution, where she will be looked after until she could return to the wild.

“If you find a wounded, weakened or orphaned wildlife, do not leave it without help. In such situations, it is best to contact the relevant services or specialists who will give the animal to professional care,” the police calls.
