Magda Łucyan, journalist of Facts “TVN” and TVN24, became the winner of the Zet Radio Award named after Andrzej Woyciechowski in the “Journalist for the planet” category. Łucyan is the author of the “Talks about the end of the world” program on TVN24.

Others nominated in this category are Szymon Bujalski (independent journalist/journalist for the climate) and Katarzyna Kojzar (OKO.press).

Radio ZET Award Andrzej Woyciechowski in the “Journalist for Planet” category is to distinguish journalists who present the attitude of climate responsibility in their work, and also show reliability, credibility, impartiality and understanding of the subject and an innovative approach. The winner of this year's statuette receives PLN 30,000.

In 2021, TVN24 prepared – together with Katarzyna Górniak – a report “such your beauty” for women suffering from endometriosis in Poland. In 2022, the report received a golden award in the Document, Subcategory: Health and Medicine category, at the World Media Festival in Hamburg.

Łucyan also has book publications – “Insurgents. The last witnesses of the fighting Warsaw” and “Ghetto Children. The last witnesses of the Holocaust”. In 2019, in the Mediators plebiscite, she won an award in the Observer category for a series of conversations “camp”. In the same year she was the finalist of the first edition of the Heroon competition in the “Journalist” category. In February this year, the report “such your beauty” was reflected in the book “Your beauty. How endometriosis destroys the life of Polish women.”

She is also the author of conversation cycles “Camp”, “Insurgents”, “Ghetto”, “August '80”.
