Then she approached Prime Minister Donald Tusk and placed a figurine next to him – as she put it – “the golden vandal of destroying health care”.
The incident occurred during the first reading of the government's draft amendment to the Act on health care services financed from public funds.
Marcelina Zawisza entered the Sejm rostrum and turned towards the government benches. – I have a question, where is your mind, where is your dignity? Mr Prime Minister, you brag about it on the X websitethat in next year's budget you propose to cut expenses for the Chancellery of the President and Mrs. Przyłębska's Tribunal (Constitutional Tribunal – ed.), Institute of National Remembrance or the National Broadcasting Council. – Do you know how many bills there are in the bills that we will soon vote to reject in the first reading? From a billion to six billion. This is how much you want to take from the health care system in a situation where all experts say that 20 billion should be subsidized – she continued.
