The British miniserial “maturation” debuted on the Netflix platform on March 13 and in a short time he conquered the hearts of viewers. Until now, production has already been displayed over 24 million times, and in the network there has also been a lot of discussions about series. One of the users of Platform X has published an unverified theory about “maturation”. He duplicated on his fake news profile Elon Musk.
“Maturation” moved the viewers
“Maturing” is a shocking story of a 13-year-old who is accused of murdering a friend from school. Already in the first episode, viewers find out that the boy actually committed a crime. Each of the four episodes of the series is realized by the Mastershot method, i.e. one long shot without mounting cuts. In the next episodes of the series, we see policemen, a psychologist and Jamie's parents, who try to understand what happened in his life and what managed him. The scriptwriters of “maturing” emphasize, however, that there is no true story behind the story of the heroes of the series. One of the creators of the script and performer of the role of father, Stephen Graham, confessed that the series is a response to numerous murders committed by minors boys. – There was a case in which a young boy stabbed a girl. It shocked me. I thought: what is going on here? What happens to a society in which the boy murders the girl? What does it have to do? And then something like this happened again, and another, and then many times. I wanted to pay attention to this and ask people: how did we allow it? – said Graham in one of the interviews.
Elon Musk duplicated Fake News about Netflix's hit
However, one of the users of the portal X has its own theory about the story shown in “maturing”. On the platform he published an entry in which he claims that the series is based on events that took place in the British SouthPort on July 29, 2024. 18-year-old Axel Rudakubana attacked kids during a dance lesson, killing Three girls and hurt eight others. The Internet user also accuses the creators of the series that they changed the color of the skin, which was in fact a black immigrant and claims that Netflix practices “anti-white propaganda”. Elon Musk shared the controversial post on X. The head of the platform duplicated Fake News, adding a short “WOW” to the entry. Importantly, photos for “maturation” began before the tragedy in Southport, which best indicates that the theory drawn by the Internet user is untrue.
