During a press briefing, the president of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum presented a 17th-century world mapin which North America was referred to as “América Mexicana”.
Noting that the name “Gulf of Mexico” is recognized by the United Nations, Sheinbaum she referred to Trump's proposal in an ironic way.
